Welcome to the Pretty Pintastic Party where all posts are pinned & features are pinned by all!
The past few weeks around here have been so insanely busy that I’ve hardly had time to sit down and collect my thoughts. I promise I’ll let you in on all the busy happenings as soon as I have more information to share, but it’s pretty exciting! Since I’ve been on the go, and running around like a crazy woman, we’ve had to rely on a little bit of help from our favorite Super Heroes.
I’ve had meetings, training events, conference calls and also that little thing I call my day job – as well as caring for my family! Somehow I’ve managed to get almost all of it done! All while battling some sort of crazy hybrid cold/allergy attack! I feel like quite the super hero myself lately.Continue Reading
Did you think I would stop with the sourdough sandwich posts? For real guys, I have an entire fresh, mouth watering loaf of San Luis Sourdough® Bread calling my name! I might have to go eat a slice with butter after I finish this! It’s that good! But seriously, sourdough bread is my weakness. You read the blog, you know the truth! Anyway, I was trying to think of more uses for my beautiful loaf besides just dipping it in soup and slathering it in butter when I remembered we had the makings of cheesesteaks in our fridge from last week! So I got to work.Continue Reading
I’ve been a fan of sourdough my entire life. If I go anywhere and sourdough is a bread choice, you know that I will be picking that. Being from California, I’ve had the pleasure of trying some of the tastiest. freshest varieties of sourdough. Something about our air seems to make some of the best sourdough around. I’ve always had the ambition to catch wild yeasts and create my own sourdough starter, but with my life lately the phrase “ain’t nobody got time for that!” comes to mind more and more.Continue Reading
Every month I go to LA for work. I go like clockwork, every 4 weeks and for the past couple years I have been in LA on Valentine’s Day. My husband and I either celebrate before I leave, or after I get home, depending on what day it falls on. This has been our constant struggle with Valentine’s Day since we’ve been married.Continue Reading
I’m getting smarter in my old age. My birthday is in 4 weeks and I will be *gasp!* 35! My 30’s honestly, have been my favorite so far, so I am quite looking forward to 35. Routine has become a huge part of my life recently, I find that with it I can get a lot more done, and since my goals this year are all about FOCUS, routine has helped me immensely. Funny how that works, eh?Continue Reading
Up until we saw Star Wars : The Force Awakens, my daughter was deathly afraid of Chewbacca. I’m talking INSANELY afraid of a fictional character in a movie she had yet to see. She had only ever seen Chewbacca in pictures, or at Disneyland, so granted her fears were warranted if not a bit skewed. She begged me not to watch Star Wars, and even had a mini panic attack as we walked up to the movie theater as a family a month ago. She told me to cover her eyes if Chewbacca showed up on screen, and I promised I would. Then, as we settled down in our seats, with our popcorn and snacks, her little hand in a death grip with mine, the movie started.Continue Reading
