Last Friday we went to LEGOLAND California for the first time! You can read all about that trip and see all our photos here. It was so fun – the kids had an absolute BLAST! Abbey was so excited and had been talking about the BRAND NEW LEGO Friends Heartlake City area. Abbey is a HUGE LEGO Friends fan and her little eyes lit up when we got there! It’s so rewarding to see pure joy just pour out of your child! It makes everything you do for them so worth it!Continue Reading
This past weekend we had an amazing opportunity to get to go to LEGOLAND California for the day. I had only ever been once before, for about 2 hours – I used to date someone who worked in the park and he invited me for lunch and a tour of his offices. I wandered around for an hour or so in Miniland USA before I felt awkward without any children, and I went home. Now that I have kids of my own, I was excited to go back and do it for real this time. Spoiler Alert? LEGOLAND is HUGE!Continue Reading
So the ALL NEW Kidz Bop 28 came out today and Abbey got the awesome chance to try it out early, before it even came out! And this new Kidz Bop, has been on heavy rotation in our house! It doesn’t help that it’s filled with all her current favorite songs, so she’s so excited to jam out to them in her room. She shuts the door so I can’t watch her, but if she’s anything like I was, I know exactly what she’s doing. Rocking out super hard!

Kids Academy is a creator of educational children’s mobile apps. They make apps for young kids to help them learn to read, write and get a jump start on learning.
We love these apps! They are fun, the graphics are eye catching and Abbey was so excited to play new games! I love that it takes learning and makes it into a fun game, so it keeps her attention longer. Being 2.5 is tough sometimes.Continue Reading
Today is Theodore Geisel’s birthday, better known as Dr. Seuss! He’s a fellow Pisces! No wonder he was so awesome 😉
I’ve been checking out Pinterest all week, for some cute and easy crafts you can do with your kids today (last minute Sunday fun!) with stuff you probably have laying around the house anyway.
I even have a very quick, kid friendly tutorial for you! Hooray!
Here’s a simple Valentine’s day treat I made a few years ago. It’s very easy and cute and would be great for your children’s class parties, especially if you forgot that Valentine’s day is FRIDAY!
Get to it!
Valentine’s Day is FRIDAY! Have I mentioned that yet?
Back when I was a kid, Valentine’s day was super awesome because it meant a class party and lots of candy! I even had my first “official” Valentine when I was in 4th grade.
Nowadays, candy isn’t really the norm when it comes to Valentine’s and even some schools have opted out of giving out candy altogether, kinda sad, but oh well.
Audrey decided that she didn’t want to give out just any old “store bought” card (is she spoiled, or what?!). So off to Pinterest we headed.
