So I’m sure you’ve all heard of Veggie Sticks, right? Those amazing little better for you chips, made with veggies and potato and they’re so good we can’t keep them in the house cuz we eat the whole bag in a weekend? You’ve had those, right? So good. Well, the same company that makes those, has a new snack out called Sensible Portions Puffs! And they were a HUGE hit this past week.
Sensible Portions Puffs are made with organic corn and contain no artificial flavors or preservatives. These delicious puffs are also GMO-Free and Gluten Free, making them a smart family snacking alternative. They come in 4 flavors, Cheddar, Sour Cream & Onion, Veggie and Tomato Basil.
My husband really liked the Tomato Basil ones, and the kids loved the Veggie ones. Which to me was crazy, because those flavors are so unlike them. I guess it’s a good testament to how good these are. I loved the cheddar ones, but some of my favorite snacking options are other brands of similar cheddar corn puffs, so I am not surprised. If you’re a fan of those too, you will love these.
They are available at Walmart and are $2.88 a bag – which is a TOTAL steal for some better-for-you snacking options. We were snacking on them everywhere, the Zoo, at our family BBQ, and even while just watching movies. Big hit over here at our house – we’re the snacking queens, so it’s good to be able to offer the kids something that’s baked, and made with health and eco conscience ingredients. That was my favorite part, and not just cuz the portion size is generous!
These were great for my sister, who just had a baby, because her son has a milk and soy allergy so she has to lay off her favorite treats. Literally everything we’ve looked for for her has at least one of those things. She was O EXCITED to be able to have snacking options she didn’t have to worry about. She scarfed down some Tomato Basil and Veggie puffs like nobodies business.
