We’ve talked about this before. Laundry is the WORST chore ever. So I’ve got some hacks, and some cute printables to help make your laundry room a little nicer, prettier, and easier to spend a bunch of time in. I mean if you’re gonna be stuck in there a few days a week, laundering, you might as well have a cute space to do it in!
We have a tiny laundry closet in our house. If I am really fancy, I can open both doors wide, into the hallway and almost create a “laundry room” instead of a measly laundry closet. We live in a small place right now, so every inch of space needs to not only be visually appealing, but also functional. You might think a tiny laundry closet would be a bummer, but not so anymore!
If you read my post on 5 Tips for Getting Laundry Under Control, you already know how much I love all free clear mighty packs. No offence to all, but the bag the mighty packs come in just isn’t visually appealing – so I grabbed this cute glass apothecary jar to keep them all in! It’s bigger than the bag, so I can fit a lot more mighty pacs in there, and it’s clear so I can see when it’s getting low. Plus, it’s cute. And let’s be honest, cute wins.
With a small laundry closet like I have, space is a HUGE issue. We have some cabinets above the washer and dryer, and they fill up fast. We’ve got extra toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, the normal “storage” stuff. When the doors to the closet are closed, there is SO MUCH wasted space! So I got an over the door, clear shoe rack! The pockets make GREAT storage, freeing up the cabinets above the washer and dryer for other things I need to store! You can fill the pockets with cleaning products, gloves, dryer sheets, sponges, rags, fabric softener, bleach pens, whatever you need to store!
NEW From the #1 Detergent Brand Recommended by Dermatologists Allergists and Pediatricians comes all® free clear liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets. Use together to make fabrics cleaner, softer, and more comfortable against your family’s sensitive skin. 100% free of dyes and perfumes. Gentle on skin. Safe for all washing machines. Find it in your fabric conditioner aisle!
Another way to make your laundry area look cute? Printables. I love printables! They are fun to make – and really fun to share! And if you swing by a dollar store, and grab a few little frame, paint them up, and toss in a free printable, you’ve got sweet decor for SUPER CHEAP!
