Essential Oils are all the rage nowadays, and I will admit that I own quite a few oils, and use them in our daily life. We use them for a variety of things, scrubs, lip balms, cleansers and making our own blends to help with concentration and relaxing. I like being able to go the natural route when dealing and managing stress, so I was excited to be able to try the Mia Mariu Therapeutic Essential Oils blend in Relax. Cuz, mama needs quite a bit of help relaxing!
The blend contains Lavender, Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Clary Sage, and the smell is very clean and refreshing, with definite floral notes. To me if smells like spring, like a big field of blooming flowers. It is definitely calming and relaxing when you smell it.
Lavender is typically used for calming and relaxation, with it’s therapeutic qualities, helping ease muscle tension in the head and neck. It’s fantastic for headaches!
Sandalwood is great for scars, helps promote healthy skin, enhances your mood and helps with restful sleep! It is commonly used in meditation because of it’s grounding and uplifting properties.
Cedarwood is great for massage therapy, has a woodsy fragrance and promotes healthy skin and clear breathing.
Clary Sage has been known for it’s mood enhancing properties. It helps with mood, and has a warm, herbal scent.
The blend is 100% organic and packed with pure botanical essences. It is rounded out with various carrier oils to help with promoting beautiful skin, by healing sun and blemish damage, preventing dryness, promotes a glowing complexion and helps moisturize! The oils included are Sweet Almond, Apricot, Grapeseed, Jojoba, Rosehip, Macadamia and Coconut Oils.
I really enjoy this blend. It wears easy, is great for massage, or adding to your existing body moisturizing routine. A few drops in a warm running bath is also very nice. I like to wear it on my wrists and behind my ears, similar to perfume, so I can really smell the oils and inhale deeply. The scent is light and not at all over powering, the oils dry very silky and not at all greasy, which is a big plus for me.
The only con I have is that the dropper bottle makes it awkward and drippy to wear, and I think a roll on would work better if you plan on wearing this. Though the dropper does work very well for adding to baths, lotions or using as a massage oil. So if you want to wear it, grabbing an empty roller bottle and making your own roller would be a good idea.
If you would like to try this oil, I am GIVING AWAY a full sized 2oz bottle to one lucky reader! So comment below and tell me why you want to try it and I will randomly pick a winner! Good luck lovelies!
I was given a bottle of the Mia Mariu for free to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
