Now that the weather is warming up, my skin is going bonkers. I’ve been trying to get my skin routine in order for Spring, finding things that work well for me. I am a total product junkie, you guys know that – so when InstaNatural asked me if I wanted to try their new Dead Sea Mud Mask, made with Dead Sea Salts, I was all about it.
My medicine cabinet, and the cupboard under my sink look like I could open my own beauty counter. It’s sorta sad, but mostly awesome. Anytime I can add to it, especially with products that actually work for me, I am all about that. Usually it’s a place where products I try go to die, but every so often I find something worth sharing and talking about.
I am a total sucker for natural products, and I absolutely love face masks. I’ve reviewed a lot here on the blog and even have a DIY version you can make at home. I’ve tried mud masks, sheet masks and those creepy weird ones that peel off. One of the reasons that I really like this mask is how light it is. The texture is very different, and not thick like a normal mud mask, but almost like a gel. It’s hard to explain, but it feels really nice. Plus a little goes a long way, so this tub is going to last me longer than I could ever expect.
The mask applies very easily, a thin layer is more than enough, and dries on your face quickly. You only need to wear it maybe 10-15 minutes, until it’s completely dry, and then rinse it off with a warm wash cloth in small circles. This mask also helps with tightening and firming of the skin, as well as lessening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The only thing I don’t like about it, but also experience with every mud mask I’ve ever used, is the itchy feeling as it dries. I use that as my cue to rinse, but ack!
This Holistic mask packs a ton of benefits, helping naturally detox and purify your skin using Dead Sea Mud which contains tons of minerals known to be extremely beneficial to skin such as magnesium, sodium, bromine, potassium and calcium. It definitely helps my skin great extra clean, and pulls out those nasty impurities and excess oils that I deal with constantly! Having clean skin is hard work past 30! Don’t get old folks!
