My kids are little fashionistas, mostly in part to me and my fervid sense of style, but I can only take full credit on the purchasing of the outfits, not the putting together of them. I try to buy the girls a few statement pieces, and lots of layering separates so they can do what they like. I also try to buy a lot of basics, because eventually all of those clothes in Audrey’s dresser will one day become Abbey’s.
Regardless, they have some pretty sweet style, and the other day we were invited to a Mommy & Me movie day to see the new Annie! (Have I mentioned how awesome the perks of my job are recently? Cuz yay!) The girls were up the night before picking out what they were going to wear!
Here they are, decked out in their outfits for the movies. Both girls are wearing hair pieces we made ourselves. I just love their sense of style! The jacket Audrey is wearing is from the new Annie Collection at Target, she just had to wear it to watch the movie! All the clothes the girls are wearing are from Target, with the exception of Audrey’s boots.
The event was sponsored by Close5, a new app that makes local buying and selling, easy safe and fun. It’s actually a pretty cool concept, and if you’ve got a second (or some stuff to sell) you should totally check it out!
The movie was fun, and much different from the original movie. My kids loved it, and honestly, that’s all that really matters. I did enjoy the few “parent jokes” they added into the film, and I laughed out loud a few times. I recommend it for those of you who love musicals and fun kids movies.
A special thanks to Close5 for the fun day!
