So for Christmas the girls got the bunk beds they have been begging us for since forever. I always wanted a bunk bed as a kid, but the closest thing I ever got to it was a trundle bed with a hideaway bed under it. Not nearly as cool, but oh well. The girls LOVE their bunk bed and love to use it to make all sorts of fun forts and tents with it. The other day as I was getting everything ready for my sister’s baby shower I peeked in and spied this…
A FULLY ENCLOSED super fort of awesomeness they decided to hang out in with their party dresses on before we headed over to the actual party. In their hands, Pop Secret popcorn bags, and begging eyes asking for a big bowl.
But I already had other plans for those delicious little bags. White Chocolate Popcorn! If you’ve never tried White Chocolate Popcorn, you need to get on it ASAP.
It’s literally the easiest snack to make ever, and super delicious! Really, it’s true. In fact, the entire bowl I made was gone within the first 30 minutes of the party. Actually a lot of the stuff I made was gone super quick with a lot of people quipping “You should have made more!” Well… come on guys!
White Chocolate Popcorn
- 3 bags of Pop Secret Homestyle Popcorn
- 1 bag of White Chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup of colored candy melts, melted (I used 1/4 cup of red and 1/4 cup of blue)
- Matching colored sprinkles (optional)
Pop the popcorn in the microwave per the directions. Pour onto a large baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. Remove as many unpopped kernals as you can.
Drizzle the white chocolate all over the popcorn and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt. Drizzle with candy melts and sprinkles and let cool. Break apart and serve.
Eat this in your fort, in your living room, or even as a snack!
