I’ve been seeing so many Top Ten of 2014 post on Pinterest lately, and it inspired me to check into my stats and see what the Top Ten recipes on Mommy Like Whoa in 2014 were. I was a pleasant surprise that some of our families FAVORITE dishes made it onto the list! So, for those of you who are new (WELCOME!), and for those of you who have been around since the beginning, here are the TOP TEN RECIPES of 2014! Enjoy!
When I was reading my 2014 stats, it was NO surprise to me, that the number one post was my recipe for my Roasted Potatoes. I really have no name for these other than “The best potatoes you will ever eat.” I actually made these for Christmas Dinner these year, and they were DEVOURED so fast. I heard what little bit of leftovers were still around in the morning were tossed into an egg scramble and they were just as good the next day. Go figure!
My husbands number one requested meal, and the bane of my existence. I rue the day I ever made this dish, but honestly? Hands down, it’s the best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve ever had. I can’t even lie. It can take a chewy piece of cheap steak and turn it into a fantastic, calorie indulgent meal of yum.
I tried these at Starbucks and knew I had to DIY them. I would have gone bankrupt! It’s crazy to see how much my photos have gotten better over the past months. Looking at old posts always makes me wanna go back and redo the photos! Maybe…
One of the very first sponsored posts I did, and it was so fun to be creative and think outside the box. Plus, they were super delicious!
Not my husband’s favorite meal, but I love it! I usually make this when he works late, because then I don’t have to hear him complain about the “weird spices”. He’s a meat and potato guy, what can I say?!
The best veggie side dish ever! I love making this dish, and we probably have it a few times a month. It’s a great way to doctor up boring broccoli!
Probably the easiest way ever to make ribs. I’ll agree it’s not “True BBQ” but when you can set it, forget it, and come out with PERFECT, fall off the bone ribs EVERY. SINGLE. TIME? Fuhgetaboutit.
Charlie LOVES these easy and flavorful sandwiches and requests them frequently! I’ve even got a few new variations coming in 2015!
I love that most of the recipes that were popular in 2014 were dinner items, and not just dessert! This easy crockpot meal was a HUGE hit in our home, and makes me totally crave it right now! YUM!
#10 Jello Cake
A throwback post from years ago, this gorgeous little spectacle of patience and love was a big hit. With or without booze, it’s still a pretty awesome feat. Not sure if I’ll try it again, but the reveal was totally worth it!
