This post was sponsored by Mrs. Band. So thanks for that, ladies!
If you read this blog, you should know by now that I am a very busy, on the go lady. Two kids, a few different jobs that take me here and there, a husband, large family, lots of things to do, places to go, people to see… etc etc yada yada yada. But am I enough?
I often get asked “How do you do it all? You must be superwoman!” but ya know? I don’t feel like superwoman. I often feel like I am never enough – smart enough, pretty enough, sexy enough, fast enough, healthy enough, skinny enough, rich enough, there enough, here enough, “mom” enough…the list goes on and on.
And then I watched this video. And I cried a little. And I realized that maybe, I am enough. Maybe I am smart enough and mom enough and wonderful enough for everyone in my life. Maybe I do enough, and I am enough and that’s OK.
I am awesome. I am amazing. I am rad. I am wonderful. I AM ENOUGH.
And you are ENOUGH too. You are so much more than enough. You are wonderful and amazing and awesome. You just sometimes forget to tell yourself. So do me a favor and tell yourself every day! Put reminders on the mirror!
Don’t ever forget that you’re enough. Because we all are.
Check out this awesome video by the ALL FEMALE rock band The Mrs!
The Mrs. will be releasing their debut EP this fall. Although the music may sound like what’s being played on pop radio right now, the lyrics tell a different story. As women in their late thirties/early forties, songs about teenage heartbreak and wild nights clubbing weren’t things they could relate to. They decided to write about their own lives – like the challenge of juggling a career, marriage, motherhood and friendships, while still trying to maintain their own identity. They set out to foster a connection through their music with other women at the same place in their lives. The Mrs. is comprised of drummer Andra Liemandt, lead vocalists/guitarists Mandy Prater and Jennifer Zavaleta, vocalist/keyboardist Larissa Ness, and bassist Jenny Mason.
