This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of GoDaddy. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I started blogging, I had no idea the path it would take me. Six months ago, I was just a mom with a little bit of free time, a new laptop and a voice I thought someone might want to hear. Flash forward to today, my blog has become a part time job for me, having sponsored content, getting items for review, and getting to do guest posts on other blogs. It’s a dream come true, and I am so excited!
Before I became a blogger, I was a hairstylist and a makeup artist. I still do that a little bit, a few days a month in the salon and also freelace as well. Beauty has always been a passion of mine, so I am always so excited when my blogging world and beauty world collide and I get to talk about something I actually know a good deal about.
Working for yourself can be really daunting. Of course it has it’s great perks, you can go to work in your pajamas, eat breakfast at your desk, watch TV if you need to take a break, get some household chores done inbetween, be home with the kids, your boss is super awesome and gives you days off whenever you want one… I digress. It also has it’s downsides, being your own boss means you’re also the secretary, the accountant, the PR department and even the janitorial staff. It means that you’re the one that needs to be in charge of the income (yay!) and the expenses (boo!) and it means you need someone, or something to help you out when things start to get bigger than you expected. This service is PERFECT for small businesses without IT departments, from the setup to the support, it’s easy and helpful with GoDaddy.
I’ve hosted my blog with GoDaddy since I went into the “self hosting” realm in February of 2013. It was an easy choice because GoDaddy offers so many great services, is super user friendly (meaning, noob friendly!) and helps me whenever I get stuck. I love it and have no complaints. I use a lot of their extra features because I love that it all works together for me. Their bookkeeping is superb as well! It syncs with my PayPal, and I get an email each week so I know what my income and expenses are with little effort on my part.
My new favorite is Office 365 from GoDaddy. It’s Microsoft’s Office, anywhere you need it. It’s Word, Excel, PowerPoint, all the favorites, and excessable 24/7 from any computer. It’s great for small businesses like me, because I can check my progress, mark jobs as pending or paid, and make sure that my delines are met on time. I can sync my calendar, email and contacts over all devices and have 25GB of extra storage space. I also love that I can update and edit from any computer, so I never feel stressed out or rushed if I need to email a draft to one of my campaign leaders. Who knew blogging would be so much work behind the scenes?
Check out some of the features!
