I made these adorable Flower Sunglasses the other day. Why? I think the better question is “why not?”.
They are fantastic, one of a kind and adorable for Spring. Plus every time I wear them I get loads of compliments. True Story.
And they are so easy, and take almost no time to make!
I think I totally lucked out on how cute those sunglasses are! And you can’t beat a dollar!
E-6000 should be you in your crafter’s arsenal by now, but if not you can find it here.
Arrange your cabochons where you want them to be on the glasses, paying close attention to keep the frames and arms separate.
Start by gluing down the bigger pieces first, and then filling in gaps with the smaller ones.
Overlapping of smaller flowers will add dimension and extra detail.
Let the glasses dry overnight, or for at least 12 hours.
I really recommend E-6000 because that glue is strong as %$#&. My kid steals these glasses and drops them all the time, and I have yet to lose a bauble yet.
Rock your glasses everywhere.
Prepare for compliments. Snicker that these glasses cost you only a few bucks, cuz you look like at least a million of them.
Make different pairs for different outfits! I want to make some cute vintage white cat eye glasses, as well as some big huge bug eye ones. I am super obsessed with these glasses! They look like I bought them this way! Maybe I am starting a trend!
Are you going to make some? I want to see photos! Share them on Social Media and tag me in them so I can see you rocking your shades!
