Special Thanks to DC Comics and Big G Cereals for sponsoring this post!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I am not a huge fan of April Fool’s Day, probably just because I am always the one to get tricked and I always fall for it.
On April 1st, I am literally on my game, trying my best not to believe ANYTHING ANYONE tells me.
Regardless, I still LOVE to play tricks on my kids and this mornings breakfast was NO exception. Don’t forget to read about my other April Fool’s Day fun too!
This is when my Super Hero ability comes in to play, and it’s not having super wonky eyebrows when I wear a mask. My Super Hero power is to make things appear that aren’t really what they seem to be.
Enter my April Fool’s Day Donuts!
It’s really fun, and really easy, and only requires 3 ingredients! (and about 5 minutes)
Big G’s Honey Nut Cheerios, chocolate candy melts and sprinkles.
Melt your candy melts in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments, stirring to melt. Dip the Cheerios into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with sprinkles.
This is where the fun comes in… call your kids to breakfast! Get excited! Say, “Kids! We’re having DONUTS for breakfast! It’s such a treat! I made them! Homemade Donuts! Hooray!”
Then hand them the plate of teeny tiny donuts and watch their reactions.
WHAMO! Ultimate success!
Happy April Fool’s Day from the Like Whoa Family to yours.
Now get out there and terrorize those kids of yours in the name of pranktastic fun!
