Here comes that pesky little “commit” word again.
I have been so diligent with blogging, keeping up with it and writing new content that’s fun and hopefully original. I’ve been approached lately by a few brands to work with them (which is exciting!) and even got an email from Michael’s! Yes, the craft store giant. The same one…
They said they saw me from a Hop I was featured on’s Pins. (another get reason for getting featured!) They wanted permission to use my content as they see fit for their pin boards and other various projects along the way. (!!!)
My dad always used to tell me that if you work hard, you will see the results, and it’s so true. I really commit a lot of time to making this blog quality, and not just quantity. I want you to come back and read more! I want you to subscribe (please subscribe!) I want you to enjoy the stuff I make, the tutorials, the recipes, the funny posts about whatever I am feeling.
When I saw that post from Michael’s it was like “Ok, my readers think I’m awesome, but now this HUGE crafting store thinks I’m awesome too!” and it felt really awesome guys, like really really awesome. In fact, I’m still sorta on cloud 9 because of it.
I saw my traffic get this big boost and I wondered what was going on, and it was all from Pinterest, all new views coming right from Michael’s pinboards! And then I saw views coming in from Silhouette America’s pinboards! And I was like “whhhhhaaaaat??” I don’t even really paper craft much, and I own a Cricut, not a Cameo, though I am thinking of converting machines…. but I digress.
This commit thing is working. This One Little Word is actually showing itself to me and it’s working guys! How crazy is that?
Anyway, I am in awe. I love it. I love Michael’s. I love spending a lot of money there, so it’s nice that they’ve decided to pay it forward.
So that’s what I’ve been up to!
